I just got my USA-Spec PA11-NIS from Crutchfield today and started looking at the car to see how big of a pain it is going to be to install. I got half the glove box area tore apart and decided to quit before I broke something... Does anyone know where I can find any information or pictures on how the dash in a G35 comes apart?? I can't wait to get my Ipod in the car, but I don't want to break anything in the process! Thanks in advance!

What year is your G and is it a 6MT or AT? Does it have Nav? I don't have pics or anything, but I may be able to help guide you through it a bit. It's not terribly difficult, but it is time consuming. I had most of the lower dash out of the car when I installed the Xbox into the G.

It's a 2003 6MT with NAV. Yeah, I got most of the glove box side apart and assumed I was doing it wrong, so I buttoned it back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks BigWill, that looks like it will help a lot! Should be pretty much the same for a 6MT. I'll probably have to spend a whole afternoon on that install. Did you go through all that C-Kwik??

Wow, that's a great link. My description would have been a lot shorter. =P But essentially, yes, I did go through almost all of that. Only difference being that mine was a 6MT. And at that, I only removed the bezel for the gearshift enough to get the stereo out. That knob in really on there and I didn't have anything I wanted to try using without risking damage to the knob. I'd suggest setting aside an entire day. The 01-04 dash is really easy to scratch so leave yourself time to actually take your time. Rushing is what usually causes someone to scratch stuff.

Have you completed the install yet?

How is the functionality of the USA Spec - PA11-NIS?

Thanks
