Do you need to change the light bulb, or the entire headlight?

There was a Sticky of DIY where people posted detailed instructions how to replace the headlight bulb. Anyone have a link to it?

Welcome to NICO

Here is a link

Troubleshooting a non working headlight in a G35 is not anything like any previous car that I've ever owned. There is a page of precautions you need to be aware of when working with Xenon headlights. There are multiple fuzes, a fusible link, relays, and a body control module. You will need a good volt ohm meter as well as perhaps a consult test or OBDll device for reading trouble codes. It might very well be the Xenon bulb but it could also be the HID control unit, or the lamp housing. My 06 shop manual trouble shooting a headlight problem calls for1- replace the Xenon bulb, If still not working2-Replace HID control unit. If still not working 3-replace the headlamp housing assembly

Have fun & let us know. You may want to have your credit card ready

Good luck

The term headlight(s) indicates that it's both headlights. This points less to a bulb issue and more to something systemic, such as a fuse or lose connection somewhere where both lights intersect to get power or in their grounding.
