g35 fuel tank drop?

Does anyone know if the tank can be dropped and reinstalled without pulling the rear suspension.
A (unreliable?) person said they dropped the tank, But then had to take out the rear suspension to put it back in?
Any one have info/experience?

I haven't personally dropped one, but the R&I instructions in the SM for all MY's of the G35 coupe and sedan call for dropping the rear suspension. If there's a shortcut, Infiniti doesn't recommend it.
