My Q45 is at the dealer to diagnose/repair some recent problems.

Have a G35 loaner. I cannot find the fuel filler door release. I was not given a remote or owner's manual.

LOL!!!!! I had the same problem a week ago with my 95 Q45 in the shop. There is no switch. Just unlock all the doors using the "unlock all doors switch" and the fuel door will unlock and then you push on it to open

Yep, when the doors are unlocked the fuel door unlocks as well.

Hi, Pat.

I had exactly the same problem with my G35 loaner some time back. Very confusing ... I think this is one thing that Infiniti got wrong on the G35. IMHO, it should be an obvious switch (like on the Q45 and M45)!

Ok, it worked

When I went to pump gas, the nozzle kept clicking off and/or fuel would spill out....like there was some restriction in the fill pipe...had to throttle back on the nozzle to prevent spillage!

I'm so glad I'm not alone! I also had a G35 loaner, and I didn't want to stand around the gas station trying to figure out how to open the door. So I called the dealer to ask, and they just told me, "push on the door, and it will open." They didn't tell me that it ever locked at all. I just thought there was no lock at all, and mine was a really stupid question.
