After buying unorthodox under drive pulleys, I tried to order the belts and noticed that the 03 sedan uses different belts (still has mechanical fan). I though I might as well just upgrade the fan as well. Has anyone done this before? What all is involved? I see a fair amount of OEM replacement fans on ebay that say they have factory connections. If I buy this, what do I need for the rest of the connections (what will I plug the fan into)?

The fan you want is from a Mercury Sable / Ford Taurus station wagon!

I put this fan on my Hemi Ram it was awesome!

I used thermostatic switch like this to run the high side and wired the low side to come on at ignition!

I'll pm you links to pictures of the install if you want.

Thanks,

Jeff

That would really help me out! Also, what CFM should I be looking for?

I have a service manual that shows the belt configuration for both electric and mechanical fans and they are the same (IP in place of the fan pulley), but it doesn't show any pictures. Does anybody have a good picture of the belt set-up that has factory electric fans?

Take a look at this from one of the sponsors for electric fan control...
