g35 doors on 350z

even though i do not own a z nor will i ever, i always say if i get a 350z ill put g35 doors on it to have the normal door handle... is this even possible? i would think so, but has anyone done it?

I doubt it. From having driven both, the Z's doors felt shorter overall. I've never measured, but given the Z is a 2 seater and the G35 coupe is a 2+2, the G would be likely to have longer doors.

It might be feasible to have the Z doors modified to accept the G35's door handles and hardware, but would require some amount of custom body work.

The best looking car would be the Z over the G for sure. I would shave the handles on the Z and put a popper on there before I would think of something as lame as putting G doors on a Z

lol -exactly...just shave the handles. hell, lambo the doors if you're going to go the route of spending money for a whole new door.

wow, i cant believe im the only one thinking this. the vertical door handles seem so out of place, while the regular ones on the g just look normal. and door poppers are gay and lambo doors are even more gay.

and i was thinking that it has to be done because i hate vertical door handles, like on old civics, rear pathfinder doors, and cutlass's i think.

its kinda like de-badging it or almost de-ricing it.

I honestly don't really like the vertical door handles and the way they stick out either, but there isn't any other 2 seater sports car at this price that looks smoother than the Z with as much HP, so door handles are minor to me. I'm not that picky or worried about blowing money to change out door handles...been there, done that and blew too much money on my bagged show truck in the past. I have the matching Z emblems on the front and back, a clear bra, tinted windows, and it's all under warranty. The only other thing I'd do to my Z is upgrade the stereo system. Some people have the money to blow on other things, but I'm past all of that. The car looks fine to me.
