Hey guys, I really need your help. My 06 g35 6mt died on the way to work today. Cranks but won't start. I was able to coast it off the freeway into a safe place to check the fuses-they all looked good. After sitting for about 5min it started right up. I got back on the freeway and it died again almost instantly.
I have a CEL on and I'm getting a code for a misfire. Could be unrelated as the code started before the problem.

How many miles are on your G35? The misfire could be due to a spark plug or ignition coil, or a fuel problem. I have heard of this problem before. Many G owners have attributed it to faulty cam/crank position sensors. I had the same problem with my G. I replaced both cam position sensors and the crank sensor. I noticed that it would die while driving throw a code, then automatically reset after the ECU did not sense the error any longer.
