Hey All, I am looking for a little advice. I am interested in ramping up the engine performance on my G35 Coupe. I was wondering if anybody had some specific advice as to what I should put in (such as turbo, supercharger, if at all possible) and if there were certain sites to go to to look at products and prices. I suppose I could jsut roll my butt down to the Infiniti dealership and start a friendly conversation with the Service/Parts manager, but I would like to go in knowing a little about thi topic first.

Any advice would be great!

I'm sure there will be many...I'd start looking around at Jim Wolf and other tuners. Dealerships don't usually do aftermarket, and be aware that any mods will probably nullify your warranty.

Might want to read Q45tech's posts on the subject of the state of tune of the engine. They will provide some interesting considerations for modification possibilities.

Nismo will be available stateside soon.

There's a neat thread in the G35 Forum on a hidden nitrous system.

Most intake & exhaust mods just add more noise. Hard to gain measurable power through mods in today's cars, esp. ones which are already fast from the factory. (But most people are thrilled with noise and the impression it's giving them power).

Supercharger and turbocharger could have a negative impact on long-term reliability, and you won't get much sympathy on warranty work (unless they're offered by dealer and you can buy extended warranty too).

You'll find a lot of cheerleaders for mods but it's important you hear the other side too.
