Anybody know anything about the Low Fuel indicator?

I got low on fuel, not quite to "E", and a GREEN indicator light came on, just under the fuel gauge. It took 17.3 gallons.

As I don't usually associate GREEN indicator lights with warning conditions, I'm wondering if there is a different indicator as it gets yet emptier???

Interesting.

Maybe a red would not have contarsted enough with the gauge back lights?

Anyone else run their G this low before?
