I just purchased a G35 coupe last week and am currently shopping for exhaust. My favorite part about the car is the sound and am looking for an exhaust system to make the same sound, only louder. If anyone out there has suggestions as to a certain make or model, cat-back or full, or anything else, that would be appreciated. Like i said earlier, i dont want to change the sound of it, just the volume...

Thanks

What year coupe? I had an 05 with a Stillen CAT-Back and it sounded pretty good. HKS is the best, but most $$. Greddy is another great exhaust. The year will make a difference on what intake mods you should do...

sorry about that...it is an 04 coupe, manual transmission, 50k miles, sport package with all the bells and whistles.

To me, I like it as is and just want it louder, therefore the Nismo S-tune Z exhaust is the way I'd go (and want to find one). But they are expensive and require extentions.

IMO, if you just want it louder get the Y-pipe off an HR (2007+) and get some HFC.

Cheapest way to get the volume and keep the tone pretty much the same. It might deepen it some, but not much. It will def make it louder - plus you will get some decent gains.

IMO, In My Opinion

HR is the engine after '07. VQ35HR instead of VQ35DE.

HFC - High Flow Cat (catalytic converter)
