Mikey, I agree... I also found it interesting that he owns an Altima coupe (I'm guessing), but has a screen name G37 rocks... uness its another G owner trying to start an argumentative thread...shift_mikey wrote:couple of components???? yeah, like intake manifolds, camshaft, ecu for starters. oh yeah, and also turn the motor 90 deg so you can have the G35 exhaust manifolds fit on the engine.
People the G35 and 350Z sound amazing, they really do. But thats the sound that those cars own, makes them unique. If you want to drive a car because of the way it sounds then go out and buy that car.
i think its a waste of time due to the g35 has just one muffler in the rear and the altima has 2 which mounts differently than the g35 .. so some fabrication is needed to achive swapping parts .. go to a exhaust shop and make your own would be cheaper and cleaner lookG37Rocks wrote:I know some of you may be able to answer this for me so here it goes: Since the G35 and the Altima V6 use the same engine (VQ35DE), would placing G35 coupe exhaust componets (mufflers, cats) on a Altima 3.5SE make the Altima sound like those sick stock exhausts on the G35 coupe? Also, would it add a great deal more power or what? Thank you to whomever answers this for me.
