Hi - I own a 2004 Infi G 35 Coupe. Apparently the folks at my dealership told me the front brake pads / Rotor are totally out and the calipers are touching onto the rotors. I can listen to a Hissing Noise when i drive around. Also was told my back brake pads were in bad shape too. I was shopping around for Rotor / Brake Pads online to check for a good deal , and the type that are a good fit to my model. Are the Power Slot Rotors good ? Or do i need some kind of Cryo Coated high performance rotors ? Also, Could i use my existing calipers or do i need to get a new pair in addititon to the rotors and brake pads. Please suggest something economical and quality stuff. I plan to take this to either MIDAS/Mieneke/JUST BRAKES or some local mechanic who can fix these, instead of the Dealer , who has asked me for 1000 $ for the parts and labor. Please suggest on what i should do ? This is real urgent. Thanksssssss

The Power Slots would be good. People have gone to those.

If you really want to be economical about it, if you go over to the classifieds section, there's a guy selling G35 rotors and pads for a very good price. He has a few sets and just wants to get them out of his garage.
