G35 6sp with an SR20

Does anyone know if the G35 6sp will fit an sr20 in an s13 coupe? ive heard you just have to get the drive shaft and an s15 diff??

Anything will fit w/ the right adapter and driveshaft do it and let us know

I dont know why you would want to do that but it will fit if you have some custom mounts, driveshaft, wiring harness and some other items.

ok so it can be done then? well im in the process of looking at a 6spd from a G35 and got some ideas of maybe doing it. depends on how much of a pain in the *** it is.

Yes.....In a sense it will fit.......With a bellhousing adaptor plate,,,,,,,,

But the g35 trans will not bolt up,,,,,,,sr vs vq bolt pattern!!!!!!

Ok heres a thought,,,,,,Buy an s15 trans... remove old trans....Install new trans bolt it up...,,,,,Attach the d-shaft...put some fluid in and drive it away,

It will for sure be a good chunk of work.I personally don't see any benefit in doing this swap other than to say you've done it. The time and cash to get it done will really out weigh the benefits.I know guys with 400hp sr's and stock sr transmission's. They work great!

A good upgrade would be some better aftermarket synchros as form my experience the stockers are always worn and that makes for a frustrating drive.
