Here at Injected Performance we recently installed twin 67mm ball-bearing Precision turbos on Wongy’s 4.2l G35 coupe. The result was a surprisingly quicker spooling setup than the Turbonetics 60-1’s, with more power on tap. On pure 92 octane pump gas (no meth or water injection) we were able to safely achieve 639whp on our in-house DynoDynamics dyno and 719whp on a DynoJet.

Next, VP C16 race gas filled the tank and we began tuning for more power. A little more boost yielded 750whp DD, above which we had problems from the ATS/Carbonetics triple disc clutch. More to come down the road.

Sweet numbers but I wouldn't call it a daily driver.

The car is show-quality and I'm not sure I would be as brave - but it is the owner's only car and is driven every day (exception of snow) at this power level
