Looking to upgrade to 17's on my 2001 I30...like the G35 6 (or stock i35's) spokes but looks like they are wider in back than in front...will this be a problem for me? how will it affect driving etc? Trying to trade some M35 18's right now so need to know kinda quick??? thanks

I've got 17's on my '00 I30 and haven't had any problems with them, same ride but better handling.

I also have the staggered G35 17" wheels on my 2000 maxima with no problem. The only issue I have is that I can't put the center caps on the front wheels because of the axle sticking out a little bit too much. I haven't been able to figure out how to grind the inside of those two center caps to get more inside clearance.

Thank you all...and that answered my next question as well about the staggered wheels. interesting...thanks. The stock i30 rims were either designed by a blind person or somebody from antarctica that's never owned a car...no offense if any of you are either...

I have the same problem with mine and they're aftermarket, it's only on the drivers front though with mine. Nice to know i'm not the only one with this issue, everybody I talked to about it locally thought my car was wierd
