G35 ('05) tire pressure monitor is not working

Hi all,

I've replaced my summer wheels/tires with winter wheels/tires and see that the tire pressure warning signal/light is not working. The winter tires don't have the pressure sender units. Previous years I would have to cover the low pressure light with some tape, this year nothing to cover. Either the car got wiser, or likely something is off with it.

Any suggestions? The light does go on with all the other lights when the engine is being started, so the 'bulb' does work.
