Dealer suggested changing out audio system for about $800 and that "may" eliminate the problem. During the winter, the problem seemed to disappear. This Spring, problem has resurfaced with a vengeance and now the car won't start if it hasn't been driven for a day. When jumped, the car starts immediately and is then fine during the day, even with lots of starts and stops. While parked in the garage over night, car is not likely to start next morning. HELP!!!
You need one of these

A battery hydrometer is a cheap tool and can show you battery cells not accepting a full charge
You will probably see a weak or dead cell
How old is the battery?
Did you measure the alternator voltage with the engine running? Should be around 14.3v
Telcoman
