Is it possible that the rear view camera in the G25 be modified so as to view in other gear shift positions?

I believe it is activated via a switch when the vehicle is in reverse. If you have it on all the time you may not have access to view your other functions, thus you would want a accessible switch to turn it on/off at will.

Try following the wiring diagrams in the FSM. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Sedan/2010/

The G25 wiring diagrams should be the same as the above link. Good luck and let us know how things come out.
