G20 Wheels Fitment question...

simple question, I've got a 1999 G20T that I'm most likely going to buy off someone, on the other hand I've also got someone else I know who has stock 2005 Spec V 17" wheels he wants to offload...

soooo...the question is can I pick up one and mate it with the rims from the Spec V ? I think the bolt pattern is the same, are there any fitment issues besides that like offset or clearance for tires?

Good fit, and a great choice for that car.

The G20 is a tough car to fit wheels for, but as long as they're 17x7 (I think the Spec V wheels are), you'll be fine.

Stick to a 215/40/17 or smaller... I think my 215's required a tiny adjustment to the rear fender lip to clear. 205/40 is a perfect fit.

thanks for the reply, I had a feeling they 'should' fit just wanted to be sure...

the tires that are on the rims are seriously worn out....maybe 20% left on it, its coming up to winter here in a few months, so I'll drive on the existing crappy-*** all season tires and replace the tires come summer of next year when I can run the 17" rims/tires

had an SR20 before so I trust the car, I just wanted a commuter car, with these gas prices my wallet is hating filling up the truck for commuting pruposes...

i just thought of something and noticed your handle name, you're running a 96 this is a 99 i'll be picking up won't it be a bit dif for tire sizing? anyone with a 99+ series that can offer an opinion on tire size? thanks all
