k guys here's the new dilema, and for once its not my car. i just finished installing a turbo kit on my bro's g20 (p10 1993). t3 .42 ar, greddy type s bov, s-afc II, fmic, walbro 255, s15 480 cc injectors. and for some reason i cant get the stupid thing to crank. i made sure the wiring for the afc was good, (6 in 6 out) made sure it gets spark, double checked the fuel lines to make sure they werent crossed. still wont turn on. For some reason the ecu throws a code 12 which means bad MAF, and with the p10's they usually need to be regrounded so i did that a while back. think the afc may be bad?i even tried the MAF from my s13 redtop and still no luck. before doing the complete setup the car ran fine, but now it just wont start, went through a starter already so now im looking for some serious help. it turns, but for some reason it wont fire up. any and all suggestions would help. thanks guys...

nistech or chris where are you!!?!?! ok so got rid of the code 12 maf code by sanding the ish out of the grounding point. disconnected the afc, and still no luck. k made sure that the lines werent crossed, there is spark and fuel and if i cant get it to turn on i cant set timing. what would cause it to not start? with my experiences its usually something small but i have no idea. the maf and filter is situated right behind the battery, so its further than 18 inches. you think maybe its too far? usually the farther the better from my past experiences. let me know what you guys think

Are you sure your getting fuel into the cyl? Its one thing to have fuel pressure in the lines its another to have the injectors actually let the fuel into the cyl. Use a noid light to make sure the injectors are firing.

i assume it is turning over?try cleaning/drying off plugs as she may be flooded.check them for fuel anyway.

hey guys thanks for the reply. the car is turning over. well i pulled the plugs yesterday and too see if it was flooded. there was a small amount of fuel on the plugs, but not a lot. i cranked the car to try and cycle it through just in case. usually when you crank the motor with the plugs out shouldnt you get a good amount of fuel coming through the cylinders? usually youll get a mist of fuel right? cause there was hardly any. hopefully its the injectors, i dont have access to a noid light so ill prolly just pull the ones off my redtop cause i know theyre working for sure. the s15 injectors have been sitting for a while, so hopefully thats it. is there another way to check, or is the any way to see if theyre at least functional? im gonna pick up a fuel pressure gauge as well and maybe that will tell me something. you guys are lifesavers...haha and if anything good luck cause so far youve solved most of my problems. ill keep you updated

A noid light is less then like 5 bucks at autozone. Get the GM one that will fit in your injector terminals. Since they dont make one specific for nissan.

hey weird developement so the car starts up with the fuel pump fuse out!?!?!?!?! i was trying to cycle the fuel out so i can pull the injectors and it turned on. my bro picked up the the walbro supposedly already wired for his car. you think something might have been mixed up in that process???

starts without the fuel pump fuse? it was flooded. thats how i clear a really bad flood out. pull fuel pump fuse and crank till she starts. then pop the fuse back in.

hey guys been a while since i posted. but thanks for all the help finally got the car started and running, but not really running right. turns out the fuel rail was slightly bent ( i know i hate saying this but the injectors were the only thing i didnt install on the project someone else did....so the rail was actually really bent) it would start up whenever we had it unbolted and just sitting on the manifold. took it off hammered it straight. changed all the plugs again, and damn after those 2 simple things it started right up. now for the fun part...

so the car has blueish white smoke whenever its in gear. usually that means its burning oil, never did that before. so more than likely has something to do with the turbo. along with that the car bogs at around 4000 rpm. i have a feeling i might have it set to run too rich so hopefully thatsthe cause for the smoke and the bog. i'll go back and check timing as well. in any case thanks guys for all the help, let me know what you think. ill try and have pics by the end of the day.
