G20 motor into my 240sx?

ok this might be a noob question, but my brother insists if i really want an sr20 of any sort that will pass smog/visual, id have to get an sr20 out of a G20 and turbo it.

i mean he said it will pas smog without the turbo, then once you do all that crap, slap the turbos back on and have fun with your legal sr20de"t"....

anyone else thought about this? i really want a fast car, i want my AUTO '97 240 to be quicker than most imports. this would probably be a hard swap since im going with a FWD sr20 and converting it to rwd.

its either that or i sell this thing.
