G20 keyless entry issue

I bought a remote from the dealer. I worked perfectly for a few months, then It lost the beep after the second lock and lights don't flash when I unlock the doors. anyone know how to fix this, reprogram it or something?

I believe it's a button combination that enables/disables that feature. Check your owner's manual. It may even have instructions on the back of the key fob.

Nametakennow is correct assuming that you've somehow put it in "silent mode" by mistake. Try holding down the "lock" and "unlock" buttons at the same time till the lights flash (should be around 3-4 seconds) and then see if you get sound

^^^^^^^^+1 This has happen to me a couple of time when I wash my car with the keys in my pocket. From now on I just wash my car without the keys in my pocket. Sice then never had a issue.
