g20 idles rough in park and reverse

i revcently bought a 1999 g20 with about 100,000 and it idles rough only when in park and reverse and it is particularly noticeable when the engine is cold. any thoughts as to the cause? thanks in advance

mmm i have a 2007 sentra thats less than 6 months old and mine has been doing that, but it only does that in the cold for me as well... i took it over to my friends house and he said it might be loose motor mounts but i dunno i just think it has to do with the weather :/

Check your motor mounts. That's the most likely issue.

Worst case scenario, it's the transmission going bad.

snoop - Head to the dealer, there's a common issue with one the 2.0's motor mounts. Get that fixed under warranty ASAP!
