A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I put brand new rotors on the front of my 2000 G20 but didn't change the pads because i have 3/4" of a pad left. End result is that my car still shakes like a paint mixer when I brake. Car does not shake when driving (even up to 90mph). Any ideas??????? thanks,Steve

The pads were bedded in to the contours of the old rotor. You could try doing some hard braking to heat up the pads and re-mold them, but I'm not sure how successful that will be.

Hey name, thanks for the info but I had a hunch that the rotors were crap from autozone and i was right. Some new rotors from the local auto store (not autozone) and new raybestos pads and all the shake is gone.thanks againsteve

I didn't know you'd gotten Autozone rotors. I had a friend use Autozone brake parts awhile back and the whole deal was shot within a couple months, so this comes as no surprise.

Glad you figured it out.
