Hey everyone. I translated another G-Works article and put it up. I think I'm going to do this weekly from now on (translating an interestng article from a Japanese mag). In the article though, I learned about a rare head called the TC24 made by OS Giken in the early 80s. I researched it a bit but am wondering if anyone else has heard of it before.

Anyway, please check out the article and let me know what you think!

I heard that OS Giken is coming out with another variation of the TC24 head. Also is it true the original run only consisted of 15?

I thought it was less than 15.
Either way, it's super rare!

Thanks for the translation!

I've seen and handled one of the original tc24 heads, they are awesome. OS Giken has been talking about re-popping them for a couple of years now but I haven't heard that it's actually happened.

I'd be curious what they'd charge for one.

If they make new ones I think they were talking 6-10k. An original (if you can find one) would be well into 5 figures.

I've only seen 3 different instances of this head. I want one.

I think I read the original os giken crossflow head was valued at 30k whenever I saw it for the first time a couple years ago.

I don't think they'd make another production run. With the costs involved, a lot of people I think would question the point of spending that much on an old L-series engine. I think they'd only be able to capture the diehard classic enthusiasts with a thick wallet.

I touched a TC24 once. I haven't washed the finger since. It's rather nasty now.

that looks way more complicated than a belt setup.

Main benefit?
