Just looking for some more advice, do any of you think getting the G-tech is worth it for the 240SX? I've viewed on their site that some of the functions won't work on a car that wasn't made after 1995, they say these functions only work on car made after 1996 And I just happen to have a 95 hatch, also they state that older cars will not render out information as fast as the newer cars, thus, the g-tech will be "choppy" I'm guessing they stated that assuming you'd be using an old ECU also?

Anything I can do to confront this situation so that I can get the most out of this pricey device? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I'm interested in getting it, but there doesn't seem to be much information out there, when it comes to it and the 240SX let me know if you find anything.

how do you own a 95 hatch? they stopped making hatch backs in 1994 are you sure you have a 1995? anyways the motors in a 240 from 92-94 are the same as the motor in the 95-98 but as for the computers they should only be same 1995-1997 after 1997 they did something different to the computers again.

Ok, 1994 it is, I already found an alternative, thanks a lot.

You need to find out exactly what the potential problem(s) are. I have noticed that my Gtech will not pick up my RPMs accurately, but it never had a problem on my 86/91/91 GTIs and my buddies 23 window VW bus.

They have a pretty good, informative forum section on thier website too. This question may have already been addressed or can be easily answered if not.

I have the GT-pro competition unit, it works well in my 89 SR coupe, in my 93 ka hatch, and in my 98 s14 with a built ka. It also worked great in all of my friend's car, from WRX's to preludes to GTI's. After doing the initial rpm calibration the rpm was always the same as on the car.
