Hello,Depending on generation, the M is substantially roomier. The first generation (Y34), while a big car, has a fairly small interior. This car was made specifically for the JDM market and it shows. The Y34 was only available with the VK45 V8 and shared much with the F50 Q45.The second generation M was designed with the World market in mind. Due to clever interior packaging, the car is huge inside. The second gen M also shares its platform with the G. It rides on the ubiquitous FM platform that underpins all Infiniti's with the exception of the soon to be discontinued QX56. The second gen M is available with the VQ35 V6 or the aforementioned VK45. To summate, the M is substantially roomier and offers the availability of a V8. It also offers a few more bells and whistles, though the current G closes the margin quite a bit. I have driven both extensively and agree with the above posters sentiments that the G is sport first, luxury second. With the M being the converse. The M's driving dynamics are not too terribly different though. Especially when equipped with the Sport Package. The M is also a good bit more expensive.Cheers,ML
