G sedan 07 vs Chrysler 300C

Guys much help would be appreciated, im in the market for both cars, test drove both. leaning towards the 300C right now mainly due to the exterior stylin and the hemi. Interior on the infinit is a vast improvement over the previous model ( hated the old interior, grows old too quickly). Can u guys give me good reasons why i should go for the infiniti rather than the chysler? btw is the10 spkr bose system as bad as everyone makes it out to be? i know appearance is a matter of personal tatse, but i loke both and although im leaning towards the 300C , i know i can grow to love the way the infinitis drives and handles. Have any of u every pulled on a 300c? im assuming the 300C is faster because of the greater torque even though its alot heavier. I know both are diff cars, ones a muslce car the other a sports sedan. Im a young single dude so space isnt an issue. Also is the infiniti alot more reliable? has anyone considered trading in for a 300C? or considered buying one when they were shopping around? all inputs will be much appreciated. Thanks

My dad owns an 05 300C hemi. They seem pretty reliable, he has never really had any issues with them. The interior is pretty bland, I dunno if they have since changed it, but the G is definately nicer.

Stock they are alittle 'mundane' and pretty plain (sure, they have great styliing, but they really need big rims and better exhaust if you want it to look 'more' street'), though the hemi is pretty sweet soudning. However, the 300C is pretty freaking heavy, G35 definately feels faster.

Couldn't comment on the SRT version though.

You have to make up your mind what you really want. A luxury sport car or a muscle car. I think the G is much sexier but that just me. You have to think about handling also.It might be fast on straight line the 300 but how about the corners. It is too heavy. I think. I have never tried the 300. I never even considered to buy one. To me it still just a Chrysler.

Personally, I hate the look of the 300...inside and out. I wouldn't get sucked into the hemi hype either. The only car that Chrysler has that comes close to the G35 is the Crossfire.

In the end it's up to you. They are 2 totally different styles.

You mentioned you were torn because of the Hemi and exterior styling... I don't see any comparison in styling...the G wins hands down especially being a young guy, and I agree with Joe...DO NOT get sucked into it because of the Hemi thing There are all kinds of goodies for the G if you want to make it faster.

300C . . . gross

It's a cool car for maybe my grandfather. Hemi . . . it might have a hemisphereical combustion space but by no means is it something out of Detroit from the late 60's. Good marketing by Chrysler to lure in the NASCAR crowd. A few go fast parts on the G and you can hang w the 300 staight line and kill it in the coners.

I was very unlucky with my Chrysler. It stayed in the shop more than my driveway. Maybe they've improved the quality. Don't have time to check CR's. Two very different cars as you noted. You really need to figure out what you want in a car.Good luck!

if and when u decide on the 300 please put a cannon and or rocket launcher on the roof and take a lot of pics. thats what the car seems to be missing from the factory installed options.

You know I might look into picking up a 300 if I was cruising for chicks . . . at a nursing home. But I'm still doing the slow roll through the high school parking lot to see what flavors are going to be availible this ice cream season.

I must admit i wasnt entirely honest in my first thread, when i said i test drove both i mean i drove the old G35 sedan, today i drove the new one and the 300C back to back and all i can saw is WOW, the G is fantabulous. Its a stunning car (to drive) miles better than the old one. Interior quality is truely something, i hated that orange glow on the interior now its replaced with whits and blues, all i can say was sick. After i test drove it i was sold. The 300C after that felt like an old car with a weak engine. i couldnt believe it. the hemi felt weak compare to the VQ35 or watever it is called in the infiniti. Ill soon be a proud owner of an infinit sedan. cant wait
