No need for math. Get a Walbro 255 lph pump. Cheap, common, and reliable. Half the modded 240's in existence use them.

No offense, but Walbro 255 should be enough. ;)

Good luck!

Ummm, the 255 is virtually silent. I can barely hear mine with the key on and the engine off.

Besides, it's in the tank.

I heard a few on youtube they were really loud, for the nissan i don't mind cause the car is loud anyway, but my Is300 needs one too and that car is quiet.

Now that that's taken care of, go out and buy yourself a new, better flowing fuel pump for the 240 such as the Walbro 255lph and enjoy it.

If you're THAT worried about noise on the IS, buy a factory one.

You listened to a Walbro fuel pump on YouTube? Doesn't that strike you as just a tiny bit weird?

I don't want to be rude here, but I had a Walbro in my Q45, which was FAR more luxurious (and quiet) than an IS300 (which is neither quiet NOR luxurious)...

I hope I've helped, but I kinda get the sense that this is a major decision (when it shouldn't be). :bigthumb:

The older ones were vacuum cooled by intake air. The newer ones are mostly liquid cooled, which is a better option but you have to change out the cooling fluid once a year. So it depends on the year of the vehicle.

So buy the Walbro for your nissan and post on a Lexus website for your IS300?

Ummmm, what?

The Walbro 255 in-tank unit is cooled by the surrounding gasoline. Same as the OEM one he's wanting to replace.
