G 35 Question

Probably will be stupid as Im not into cars as much as some. Has the G 35 been discontinued? All I see are G-37's as of 2009. Is the Infiniti G a G 35 or G 37?

03-07 sedan/coupe is the g35

08 coupe and up are g37

i believe there is an 08 g35 sedan (someone will correct me)

they are all infiniti "G"s... just different bigger engine in the g37...

ok ty. i find the body style on the G 37 not as much to my liking as the G 35. the car is longer, is it not? also, i find the front of it not as sleek looking as the G 35. on the front it sort of comes up on the sides, and just looks weird to me. ok, i was afraid this was the case. also, how does the G35-G37 compare to the Nissan 350 in terms of perfromance and reliablilty? i assume the 350 is now discontinued for the 370 as well? dont like that body style either.

yep 370z now replaces 350z...

yeah i dont really like the newer rounder style either... i love the 05-06 g35 body styling

but i would trade up for the new engine and just learn to like the rounder style... they didnt mess up the driving feel at all... and thats what counts more to me.

i wouldnt pass up a g37 just cause of the slightly different body style.... its still a "G"

im trying to like the G37, just hasnt happened yet. as far as the 370z, i really hate that car compared to the 350. dont know what it is, but just dont like it. looks like a deformed Porsche to me. are there any major differences between the G35 and G37 that I should know about? i guess ill have to decide between new or used, as i do want a G35.

I have an 08 XS (awd sedan sport). I find that for the sedan I like the newer body style better. For the coupes I tend to like most of the older ones I have seen better (although a couple of new ones have caught my eye). As far as the Z I like the newer ones better but I am not so sure of how they implemented the moving pod idea from the newer 'G's. Like the rest of the interior better however.

I think you really need to also look at various colors as that I find really changes things as well for the different years. Right now I really like what I saw in a black XF.

I agree with you here... The 370 has to grow on me, kinda like the R35 did. When I saw the concept drawing and actual pictures of the production model I completely hated the look. But after seeing it more often (magazines, internet, real life, etc.) I gradually started to like it...
