Is it a burned CD or a store-bought album? You can't rip burned music to the hard drive.

I have tried so far the store bought CD's.........pardon me for being a little dumb on all the terms but are you saying the original ones cannot be copied or is it the ones that I have copied to my computer from the original to another CD that cannot be done?

Help an elder guy please...........hell , I have gone thru FM- 8 track_ Casseltte and now onto CD.......and now a G-35.

Its cool, no worries on being "dumb", its not dumb. The original ones can be copied, the actual albums you've bought. The ones that you've put on your computer and copied to another CD won't work. Let me look around and see what I can dig up for you.

This may be a dumb question, but after hitting Rec, did you hit Enter?
