dont know how many others have the same problem with their key fob as I do. When I got my 98 in 2003 both key fobs were damaged from being dropped so many times. Today, both of them work fine but the plastic shell surrounding them has gotten worse. Ive tried doing searches for new key fob's and I even tried to order a new one through Keylessremotesonline but cancelled my order after 3 weeks of going back and forth with the company about when the thing was going to come in.

So if you are in the same boat as me I found these rubber covers at http://www.thejacketstore.com/...ories. They dont have one for the infiniti q45 but this honda one matches up to the infiniti key fob pretty well. Only missing the hole for the panic button.

$7 mailed to your door.

So if anyone else wants to get away from that rubberband or tape holding your key fob together like I was for so many years............

Or new from Joe.

One of the internet fob sellers has a really bad reputation. Forget the name right now. Caveat emptor.
