I've noticed that there are discussions coming up from time to time regarding tires and sizes. I was recently shopping around for new tires for my Sentra, and wasn't sure if I should or could change tire size safely.Turns out the tire guys at Costco had this neat little tire size comparator program that they downloaded for free from the net. They use it all the time.I downloaded it for myself a month ago, and though maybe other folks would be interested. It's a small program and perfectly safe. Very easy to use and useful.I hope some of you find it helpful as well. (and no, I'm not trying to sell anything or get anything out of this. I just want to return some favours). Thanks.http://cat.cc/tiresize.htm

Hate to say it, but I still prefer the first one I referred to: Comparator 4.1.Better graphics, and I like the fact it warns you (via color schemes) if there is too much difference in tire size. The downside of course is that you have to download it first. The others are on-line, which is a plus.Either way, they are all good tools when choosing tires.

Oh, I really don't like the one you referred to.... I don't have a Windows PC, so I can't run it. Thats why the online ones are better for me. I have gotten so many people to add the one I linked to their bookmarks...

I should give yours a try though.

I hear you. I'm guessing then that it's not Mac friendly. Too bad.For a PC user, I still think it's worth considering. It's not a big program, and it downloads in seconds. It installs just as quick. All in all, I just thought it was useful, and wanted to share with others on the forum.Thanks.
