I just wanted to let you guys know i ordered a rb20det! ACT clutch kit from phase2 =sent me a 300zx kit with wrong throw-out-bearing. I tried to return but was denied and even not compensated.

Also I ordered a rb20det water pump and they sent me a rb25/26 pump their fault and admitted! They did offer a 20% discount on next purchase so.......

Just thought you guys should know had to use old pump and throw-out. Growls everytime i push in the clutch got to love it! thanks phase2!

You should have gotten a bearing from a parts store then, hope that thing doesn't crap out on ya.

Sucks though, thanks for the heads up. Was it too small or what?

I'm pretty sure 300zx clutch kits are the same as rb20/25's. What was wrong with the throwout bearing? Did it not fit or did it just look different...

Phase2 are good people and I have been dealing with them for the past 5 years without issue.

I cross referenced my stock one from NAPA and it was from a 240sx. The 300zx one i tried is alot larger in diameter and mounts differently on the RB sleeve which makes it not even spin correctly.

Yep correct way to large in diameter. Shipping was fast and they are deff. ok to deal with. On the pump they just flat out said they have no availability on a oem rb20 pump and return is void when installed. Ill see if they hold up to the 20% off. Im not hating on the company just wanted to point it out.

Rawbrokerage is superior in all aspects just from an email i recieved back from them i can tell that got it together. If they just had constant avail. on parts, if i need it i buy it from whoevergot it right!

Well clearly if you've tried to install the part, its unreturnable. Its the consumers job to inspect the parts are correct before installation. I don't know any retailer out there that will accept a return that cannot be repackaged and resold as new.

i bought his old water pump and am actually in the process of installing it now. raw brokerage had a better price on the RB20 pump I'm sure.
