I followed up with Joe at Racingline about the Y-Pipe delivery date. Below is his response dated 3/17/09:

"new sample was picked up today and a new dyno should take place on friday if all goes well. If that works out and we like what we see then 3-4 weeks for fabrication and official release

Thanks,

Joehttp://www.racinglineperformance.com"

Hopefully things go well and we will have it for when the nice weather comes around. Well, nice weather for us North East people. Not you spoiled west coasters...

can we get some pics of the Y-pipe? doesnt have to be on a car or anything, i'm just curious to see how it looks and i'm not looking for the answer "it looks like a Y" cuz thats sort of obvious that its going to resemble a "Y" (hints the name) lol

I can't wait for this part! I just hope it doesn't compromise the sound of my car. Some of the youtube vids that have older altimas are a bit too raspy or something for my taste. Pics would also be appreciated!

First pic is provided by racingline and the second is their product from the maxima forums comparing stock vs racinglines.

thank you! its been a while since i was under my car but last i recall there were 3 cats. 1 had no sensors and ive even taken it off before with no issues but i heard the other 2 did have sensors and if i messed with those i'd get a check engine light.... the first pic you posted, i dont see any cats? i know 1 cat goes away but what about the other 2? are are they more up by the transmission and engine and you just cant see them in this pic? its been a while since i looked under the car so i'm just wondering..... cuz if it eliminates all 3 cats, we get a check engine light right?
