are you talking about the "sponge" thing in the box??? does it come with a smell???? i soaked mine with tommy hilfiger air freshner, didn't make a huge difference........ a clean interior, with conditioned leather seems to keep things smelling good.

Well I've never actually seen this thing myself... but I am assuming it's the sponge thing..

Joe said it's a refill for the air freshner, so it should accomplish what the OEM unit did, when new..

i'm sure it's the "sponge thing",,,,,seems to me you only have to dunk it in a fragrence that you like, then re-install!!!

I know, but I'm such an OEM whore..

I would sleep better at night knowing I got an exact one made for the Q, from joe..

Don't ask me why, I'm weird like that

I like how I can hop into any old Q and it still smells new.

yeah, the old sponge should still be in there, unless someone took it out. i just let mine soak overnight in, i believe, tommy hilfiger. not an overpowering smell in the car from the stock location, but nice!!
