A lot of people were talking about this show on a local message board here. Problem is, in Louisville, you need to subscribe to a digital cable package ($$) in order to get the Speed channel. Why the cable company here will not offer it as part of the regular cable pacakge like in so many other cities I'll never know. We do however have THREE home shopping channels! :rolleyes :rolleyes

There are two reasons why I have a digital cable package eventhough I have to pay extra for it:

1. Cable modem

2. Speed Channel

Those are really the only reasons why I have digital cable =)

Speed Channel has SCCA run offs, Speed Touring Challenge, FIA Rally, F1, German Touring cars etc... and now Japanese Touring cars... this is better than going to the movies. There is mostly NASCAR during the day while I work, so it isnt like they show NASCAR all the time like everyone thought.

$100 bucks for a month of enjoyment is all worth it to me. I can understand though if someone is on a budget because they spend all their money on car parts =)

Speedchannel is the only reason I have the digital cable package as well. I was watching the Japanese touring last night - for the first time. Nissan was running a Silvia - does anyone know what this car is based on. Honda was running an NSX which in the US is an Acura. Don't forget about the knee-draggin' motorcycle racers - my favorite since I used to be one...CCS in Florida.
