FYI - 2008 Rogue AWD VIn starting JN8 Transmission replaced at 21,550 miles

Trans was making a noise, took it in twice - what ever the dealer did, it did not fix the noise. Third time they scheduled a transmission replacement. Noise went away. Car is at 26,000 miles now. I am getting a scraping noise now, as if my brakes are worn out. I took it to a brake place and they told me all four has more than 50% of the pad in them. I am taking it into the dealer today.
