Fx45 - cabin filter from engine?

I replaced my battery this weekend and in doing so, I noticed that I could see the cabin filter from the engine bay. Has anyone replaced it from the motor side?

On my wife’s Mercedes, you can change from the glovebox or engine and it’s way easier from the engine side.

I’ve barely driven my car since the battery change and haven’t worked on it at all. Maybe when the weather is nicer in Chicago I’ll try to see if I can do it, but for now, I have no motivation to work on cars.
