I was at our local mall yesterday (Fashion Place), in Utah. They had an FX45 in one of the corridors, as we approached it, you could see people just flock to it. I checked it out too of course it had a sticker of 52, and change. It was interesting to see all the people walk up to it, at one point when I was looking at the vehicle close up, another gentleman and his wife were looking at it also. I heard him say to her oh, it's an Infiniti, not sure if he hadn't heard of them, or was just wasn't sure what the brand was.

Infiniti's making some really good sales progress with futuristic yet tasteful cars. A G35 on display outside Costco got my Dad's attention. Hes going to sell his Civic and acquire one.

IT is a bit much, but the FX35 is a deal. You give up about 40 HP (Like 285, instead of 315 - don't nail me for being off here), and you can get most all the same features, some of which, you just don't need (20" wheels, AWD, NAV, XM Radio). They start in the 30's. The gas mileage is better, and all you ahve to do is buy one little chrome number from the parts department, so the neighbors think you shelled out the big bucks.

LOL - Good thinking.

Still, like I said, compare it to what our cars cost a decade ago, and it ain't that much cash!

What? A luxury SUV without XM, AWD, and navigation? Bah!

There is a couple of Porsche Cayenne's at the local dealership, if you want to add TT to the mix, for say.....$50,000 more than the FX-45.

A recent CNN review between the FX45 and Cayenne puts the FX45 ahead on quite a few items. BUT, the FX45 is at least $30k cheaper.
