My wife has a 2003 FX35 and she just had service done but the screen still comes up saying oil change need at 7500 mies and something about tire rotation, is there a rest they didnt push or something?

Yeah, whoever did the service didn't reset the display.You can reset it yourself. The procedure should be described in the user manual.
