Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, and I did a bunch of searches but could not find my answer.

I'm looking to purchase a used 09 FX35 from a dealer, but the skeptic in me wants to know for sure that it is an AWD that I'm purchasing.

How can I tell by looking at it that I am purchasing an AWD FX35?

Have them run the VIN if you think you will be duped into buying a RWD model.

When you start the FX there will be a light in the instrument cluster that reads AWD It will light up briefly and go out.Don't expect the low fuel warning light to work either. Thats another quirk with these cars.

I just got the car last Thursday, and everything was fine when I drove home. But the next day, my dashboard lights went out behind the radio, climate control, and info center. It's still in the shop since Monday. Good thing it's still under manufacturer warranty. Guess that's another one of those quirks?

Smart move to get a warranty with these machines. The biggest problem you will have will be electrical.
