This kit designed to go overtop of the existing aluminum trim, but you don't have to use ALL the pieces. The kit has a great balance, giving you the best of both worlds if you go with the real wood. This kit doesn’t look aftermarket like most imitation kits and really adds a lot to the FX’s interior. Some feel the FX interior is a little Spartan to begin with, but after adding this kit, lookout!

Some customers choose not to cover the center console/cupholder area and leave it aluminum. You can remove the kit down the road if you want, and it won't hurt the aluminum when you take it off. It will actually protect it and preserve it until/if you ever take it off. A great flowing kit that looks like a million bucks.

Cool. Did it come from the site linked in your sig (Burtman Indus)? If so, what does the "auto shift only" mean? How much does it cost? Do you have any pics of it with the Brick and Black interior? Thanks.

Would you mind share the price? Does it fit for 2004 model?

A friend of mine got a light color wood in his Mercedes and it really stands out against the black interior.

How is the trim applied to the interior, that it doesn't stain/hurt the aluminum underneath? Looks great. I'm considering this once I pick up my 35

The main kit is on sale as we speak.

http://www.burtmanindustries.com

Our kits don't require a promoter to be applied to the dash before you install the kit. We use a newer version of 3M backing that doesn't require a promoter. Yes, this is more expensive, but it sticks better. Just about all companies require a promoter if you look at their install instructions. These promoters can discolor your dash, and with our kit, you can remove the dash kit later without harming your dash underneath. Many customers have leased vehicles and need to remove them at a later time.

A lot of owners have posted reviews that may help others. I also stand behind my product 100% if you would happen to have a problem.

Cool, my uncle has that exact kit from the previous owner. Wondering if you have anything for the shift knob? He's looking for a woodgrain like that for the auto shift knob replacement.

THANKS!
