I had a issue with my low fuel light. It only comes on when the Car is below empty!Infiniti claims that when it comes on you have about a gallon of gas left or about a 30 mile range.I never got 30 miles per gallon no mater how I drove.And in fact there is no certain point on the fuel gage that the light will come on.Bottom line: It basically comes on to tell you that you're out of gas.The true version of the idiot light.The low fuel light is a factory defect on the FX that infiniti should have recalled and hasn't.Has anyone else noticed a similar problem with the low fuel warning light on their FX?

The '02-'06 Q45 and '03-'04 M45 have the same problem. Infiniti isn't going to address this problem like the many other issues their cars face. lol

There has been a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) released with regards to a defective fuel gauge, however it only applies to certain Model Years.
