We recently just sold our 350Z and picked up an FX35 and love the thing to death. Got it with ridiculously low mileage for a ridiculously low price...In the color we wanted (Black of course). But what I'm curious about is, with it being a luxury car and all, why have I never seen an FX with aftermarket wheels or exhaust or anything? This really does seem like a pretty cool car to lower some with some nice 22" wheels or the like. I have just never seen any FX ever that has had anything done to it. I'm really just trying to get some ideas if I do end up "pimping" out the car as we have done with all our others in the past. So with that said, does anyone have any pictures of some "pimped out" FX's? Or any links to some places that have some aftermarket stuff for them?

Thanks!

Woo those are some good looking FX's!

On the widebody you posted, are those iForged wheels? And what seems to be a good size wheel? Are there any lowering kits or exhaust systems or anything of the like made for the 35's? I'm not really sure if we're going to do anything with it or not, but it would be nice to get some ideas up in the head

Thanks again!

This is a great forum but there are other forums (particularly infinitiscene) that have a lot more talk on aftermarket addons.

Well, one can cripple any car by lowering it enough or installing heavy enough anchors disguised as wheels. Improving on road performance is a whole other thing requiring somethoughtful modifications.

At least the ProDrive looks like it can negotiate real world streets at speed and not be high centered on parking lot speed bumps.

Remember, VIP = Very Impaired Performance.

I had mine sitting on 22 inch black center chrome lip wheels. Loved the thing to death and was a "REAL" head turner. It probably helped that I had the red exerior with brick interior. Just sold it though, I still have the wheels if you are interested.

You really have nothing better to do in life than dog on VIP huh? I personally don't agree with it, but I can appreciate it. What's your beef? Or pork? Vegetarian? lol.

I like the VIPed FX.

I think with the new EX being out, the FX will see more mods. Why? Because you'll see more guys buying them with the EX being marketed to primarily women. Guys like personalizing their ridez.

I have ran into people online and offline that could care less for the way my car looks. I have seen plenty of people actually laugh. On the flip side, I get compliments almost every day from people who love it. When you customize a vehicle this much, it creates a big divide. It doesn't offend me at all if someone dislikes my ride. I dig it and enjoy driving it (except today cuz I got a F***ing nail in my front tire). Getting it repaired tomorrow. I recently removed the roof racks and installed all of Bat's overlays. I will post updated pics when the rain decides to leave.

I love the color of your FX. If I could get a G35 sedan in that color and have around 10k to mod it, my coupe would probably be for sale.

Don't tell any of the G guys I said that
