I searched for my problem but couldn't find it. I have an 05' fx 35 and the brakes (or somewhere near the brakes) are making a grinding noise under light brakeing. the problem seems to be on the front pass. side and rear driver side. I took it to the service dept. and they said they lubed something and it was fixed. It is not fixed. it has gotten worse over time. Its not the brake pads, they are new. Thanks for any help.

Where did you have them serviced? The factory pads usually are pretty quiet, there have been some occasions of an odd set of noisy ones that you can see there is a small piece of medal in the material. Replacement is the best way to resolve this issue. If you had other pads installed on it you may be missing the shim kits, this is one of the most common things I see. Those little covers will cause a racket if they are missing.

Thanks I'll look into the shim kit possibility.
