Like the title says, FWIW, I stumbled across the Polk Audio/Momo 10" sub in box on Crutchfield.com on clearance, $179, reg $329.

Don't know much about it, but the one time I saw one, I thought it looked pretty hot.

Does anyone have any first ear experience?

oh yes, i have one. i actually got mine brand new in the sealed box off ebay for $95, but it is worth every penny of $329, let alone $179. i have it wired to a fosgate 451s, and it hits harder than my friends 2 12" 400watt rms mtx's. it looks really trick with the glass back and the momo grill, and was super easy to hookup. i am telling you, if you buy one you will not be dissappointed. it is so worth the price.

Polk MOMO is basically their dB design subwoofer they use it in home audio applications as well. The dB stands for Dynamic Balance. They are solid subs. Well worth the 179. Go Colts!

I have a PolkMOMO 12" hooked to a JL 500/1 amp. They're awesome subs!
