Post

I just picked up a 1991 sentra xe 1.6 automatic and I'm looking to make it go fast.I'm thinking either the bluebird or the pulsar gti-r swap can someone/anyone help me with a list of all parts that will be needed to complete this conversion?Links, web info, and engine shops in/near florida is also appreciated.List of other goodies that will help also.

little tips and tricks to help the swap go easier also appreciated.

sorry if this list has been asked for before.

You need a se-r tranny, se-r drive axles, the engine, ecu.

Visit http://www.se-r.net or http://www.g20.net or http://www.sentra.net

Oh, and by the way, Chef on the boards has a turbo GA16DE 200sx. He sells kits too I'm pretty sure.

about the old g20s... I think they look a lot better in person. Then again...I like vintage late 60s to early 90s imports (euro and jspec)

nlzmo- Why do you not like it that much, is it the halogens(or just not clear) lights in the front, the straight lines?

I dig them in just about every year.I like the 00-02's just because im looking to turbo the stock motor and need one with low mileage to do so.I also like the grill of the newer ones a bit more.

another way to look at it is get an old one with relatively high mileage that is pretty cheap. Spend the money you save on rebuilding it with the pistons and rods and etc that you want.

Talk to Chef before you bother with a swap. He pointed me in the right direction with my old B13 GA16. I was able to put that car into the 13s with no NOS and no engine swap.

The GA16 requires you be a bit more "engineer" and a little less "technician".
