Hey,

First post, I've searched and didn't find anything conclusive.

Here's my situation, I have a FWD ca18det in a Pulsar. Pulsar got T-boned and is a writeoff. I can get another Pulsar to transplant the DET or buy a 91-93 240sx and transplant the FWD DET into it.

So the questions are, (1) Can the FWD ca18DET be mated to a ka24de transmission? (2) If so, which clutch can be used? (3) Can the ka24de motor mount be used on the FWD DET?

I'm not too concerned with electrical and piping as these can be customized easily. Also, I've owned 240s before, so I'm not a total newbie.

thanks.

I know the bellhousing on the KA's transmission is different, but from what i've heard you can change that to make it fit. The only thing is, and I could be wrong about this, I don't think that FWD transmission's bellhousing will do the trick.
