hello ladies and gents looking to get my hands on a fwd ca18det.....let me know what you got if anything my zip is 30008 so if anyone wants to quote me a price plus shipping that would be awesome....

You may as well get a RWD unit and do the conversion. MY friend just came from Japan and confirmed the fact that they are indeed a rarety or non-existent in some yards. I even asked about the AWD CA and he said nothing doing!

I got an AWD and a FWD CA...both of them junkola. You do need the AWD for the intake manifold though, since if you dont, the TB will be facing the right strut tower...

That's not true, chief! Both the RWD and AWD CA18DETs have interchangeable manifolds which means you can just take the throttle body and move it to the other side and vice versa.

Or find a wrecked Pulsar SE... their TB is not interchangeable and it goes over the valve covers.

Yeh, the AWD has the plenium and runners like the RWD though.
